What makes warehouse cleaning different

  • 01
Soil comes in through the dock doorsOutdoor grit, tire marks, pallet splinters and shrink wrap move with every trailer. Floor programs are built on sweeping frequency and scrubbing cadence, not mopping.
  • 02
Floors are the main eventSealed concrete, coatings, joints, striping and drainage decide the method and equipment. Walk-behind or ride-on scrubbing is scheduled so surfaces dry before traffic resumes.
  • 03
Shifts and seasonsOne to three shifts and peak-season surges in staffing, packaging and waste change where crews can work and how often. Added porter hours and post-peak deep cleaning are planned in advance.
  • 04
Safety boundariesForklift routes, dock restrictions, PPE and lockout requirements are documented before service. Battery charging, electrical and hazardous spills stay with qualified personnel.

How we scope and price warehouse cleaning

Pricing follows labor, supervision, equipment, access requirements and frequency for the approved scope, quoted monthly with projects as separate lines. Four factors drive most of it:

  • 01
Square footage and floor conditionCleanable area, ceiling height, floor material and coating, and the sweeping and scrubbing equipment the surface requires.
  • 02
Shifts, docks and trafficNumber of shifts, dock doors and loading activity, forklift traffic and the workforce that sets restroom and break room demand.
  • 03
Schedule and portersDaytime versus overnight access, weekend windows, day porter staffing and seasonal coverage.
  • 04
Offices, waste and projectsAttached office coverage, cardboard and recycling responsibilities, high dusting, post-construction and turnover cleaning.

A warehouse walk-through is the only reliable way to determine staffing, equipment and frequency and deliver an accurate proposal.

What does professional warehouse cleaning include?

Floor sweeping and machine scrubbing, dust and debris removal, dock and staging areas, restrooms, break rooms, waste removal, attached offices, entrances and aisles, as identified in the scope of work.

Can FlowerHill clean while the warehouse is operating?

Yes, where work zones, equipment routes, access and safety responsibilities have been established. Scrubbing and heavy floor work are usually scheduled overnight, between shifts or on weekends.

Do you provide warehouse floor scrubbing?

Yes. Walk-behind or ride-on scrubbing on sealed concrete and other suitable surfaces, scheduled so floors dry before traffic resumes.

Do you clean loading docks and racks?

Docks, yes: sweeping, debris and packaging waste, pedestrian paths and interior entrances. Racking is limited to accessible exteriors and base areas; crews do not climb racks or move inventory.

Can you clean both the warehouse and attached offices?

Yes. One plan covers warehouse areas plus management offices, conference rooms, reception, restrooms, break rooms and driver areas.

Can you remove cardboard and packaging materials?

Yes, collection and transfer of approved packaging waste to designated points. Balers, compactors, pallets, recycling vendors and final disposal are assigned in the scope.

Can you clean a refrigerated warehouse or handle hazardous spills?

Refrigerated facilities are scoped after a review of temperature, moisture, floors, PPE and sanitation requirements. Chemical releases, biohazards, combustible dust and regulated waste are not routine scope and need qualified specialists.

How do we get a warehouse cleaning proposal?
